Alphabone Orchestra: build-a-poster checkout on WordPress

Custom name posters with scalable painted fonts and on-site Gravity Forms checkout — no mid-funnel hop to another site.

Alphabone Orchestra wanted shoppers to build and buy a custom name poster on-site — hand-painted character fonts, three type options that had to scale inside a fixed poster frame, and checkout that never bounced people off to another domain mid-flow.

The builder

Flexbox laid out the poster canvas to the approved comps. A custom HTML5 form (ACF-backed) carried selections page-to-page with GET so the composition stayed intact across steps. JavaScript scaled the chosen font into the parent container so long names didn’t blow the layout. Ajax + PHP rendered the final poster in WordPress before Gravity Forms took payment.

Why stay on one domain

Keeping create → preview → pay in one WordPress flow meant Gravity Forms and the custom builder had to share state cleanly. Less drop-off than a third-party designer embed, more control over how the painted letterforms actually looked at checkout.
